However, by comparison, they have far fewer side effects than other procedures. In this affected area, then, there will be a wealth of color where it should not be. Infection is one of the most easily prevented side effects that can come as a result of the laser tattoo removal procedure. This can be avoided to a greater extent by keeping the area clean by using anti-bacterial soaps on the site. Sometimes doctors can even prescribe topical treatments to lessen the chance of infection.
